Sebastian Kloborg was born in Copenhagen in 1986. At the age of 13 he started his studies at the Royal Danish Ballet School, graduating in 2003 and joined the Royal Danish Ballet that same year.
He started choreographing in 2011. "Choreographing to me is movement for a reason. It is an intension guided by emotions. I want to create moods and pictures that can take the spectator somewhere else for a while. The theatre should be a refuge for the soul and an endoscopy of the mind."
From 2012-14 he danced with Gauthier Dance in Stuttgart.
In 2015 he was invited to create 'Strangers' his first work for The Royal Danish Ballet.
In 2016 he went freelance as a dancer and choreographer.
Since 2017 he has been a choreographic fellow with Danish Dance Theatre, where his first choreography ‘Walk the Beast’ was based on foley sounds on the theme of memory and loss of same.
His site specific works includes his version of Homer's The Odyssey, NOSTOS(or It’s All Greek To Me) from 2017 made for 7 cars and 6 dancers and set in a parking garage in Copenhagen.
In 2017 he started a collaboration with photographer Mathias Løvgreen on creating movement based installations aiming to challenge the public on how art is seen and presented.
